A Creepy Tale

Dr. Kenton was the physics Prof. at Brinley College in Michigan. He was an attractive man. He had haunting, deep set eyes that would almost glow because they were so yellow. If he every made eye contact with you, you would never be able to look away. He had a sweet, gaunt face and long, slender hands.

Dr. Kenton had some peculiar habits. He would often sneak up behind you while you were attempting to rig an experiment or take some measurements. If he happened to startle you he would always be ready to catch any items you might drop. Dr. Kenton would often tell jokes that were so subtle that only he would ever really get them. 

Dr. Kenton is also a genius. Rumor has it, he can remember back to the moment of his own conception.

There was not a single woman in Dr. Kenton’s physics classes who did not harbor a secret crush for him. The few male students who were aware of this peculiar phenomenon where completely boggled by it.

Denise Spalding was one of the victims of said phenomenon. She had woken on several occasions from steamy dreams about Dr. Kenton. She confided one of these dreams in a close friend, Katie McKreer: 

“I was doing some math in the classroom and he was the only one who was there. I could feel his breath on my neck. He leaned in even closer and told me that I’d made a mistake. He told me I needed to factor more endorphins into the equations. He touched my hand and it it was really warm. I tensed up a little. Things started to get really steamy after that.”

Katie said, “Oh my God. That is so strange. I had almost the exact same dream, only I was blowing up cans instead of doing math. He said something about endorphins to me too.”

Denise said, ” That is strange. Maybe Dr. Kenton can actually go into people’s dreams.”

Katie scoffed and said that she thought that was an interesting thought. Denise watched her leave the room shortly after. Denise stayed and thought for a long time.

Katie saw Denise talking to Dr. Kenton the next day. Denise had a blank expression on her face and was laughing jovially. Dr. Kenton turned and looked Katie straight in the eyes. Shortly after Denise and her family moved to Washington State.

Nobody knows exactly what transpired between Denise Spalding and Dr. Kenton, but Katie McKreer never set foot in the science building again.
